MundaMurra technology is based on the use of silicate free non-depleting organic acid technology (OAT) corrosion inhibitors that considerably improve corrosion control of cooling system metals and offer extended service life. The glycol-free MundaMurra Long Life Corrosion Inhibitor concentrate exhibits low toxicity, has environmentally responsible chemistry and can tolerate hard waters. This compatibility minimizes the formation of hard water phosphate scales and the absence of silicate in the MundaMurra product, eliminates silicate dropout, thereby increasing water pump and seal life. The silicate free formulation improves heat transfer properties and results in lower cooling system operating temperatures (up to 10°C).

The inhibitors are non-depleting which converts to an extended service life of the coolant, and no requirement for the use of supplemental coolant additives (SCA’s). The technology also affords corrosion protection in the vapour phase for standby generators and other infrequently used equipment. MundaMurra is a ‘fill for life’ of the engine product with 24,000hrs service or 1.25million kilometers. MundaMurra Heavy Duty water-based coolant is compatible
with other extended life coolants such as CAT ELC, Nalco 3777
or conventional coolants such as DCA4, TEC50, PGXL for top-up during a coolant changeover program. MundaMurra Coolant is available as a ready-to-use PREMIXED coolant.
